ABSTRACT
The abdominal system includes the gastrointestinal tract, which is basically the gut from mouth to anus, as well as the organs situated in the abdominal cavity itself. These include the kidney, liver, spleen and internal genitalia, of which the female genitalia is of greater importance. Traditionally the gastrointestinal tract has been separated into upper and lower parts.
