Preamble Whereas the Commonwealth Legal Education Association (CLEA) Constitution contemplates the formation of National or Regional Chapters of the Association,
And whereas the Asian participants of the CLEA Conference at Bangalore (1993) unanimously resolved to constitute such a Regional Chapter for South Asian countries in the Commonwealth,
THIS CONSTITUTION was adopted at Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak in February 1994, and approved by the Executive Committee of the CLEA at the University of Warwick in July 1994.
