ABSTRACT
The general duty of the court is to take into account all the circumstances of the case, giving first consideration to the welfare of the minor children of the family. In practical terms this means to see that they have a roof over their heads and adequate funds to live on. The court then works through the s 25 factors and applies them to the facts of the case.
