ABSTRACT

Divorce affects any will you may have made before. It is always wise to make a will, and especially wise if you and your spouse are at odds. If you delay in making your will and the unthinkable happens, your spouse may get everything and someone you love may lose out. We remember a 29-year-old mother of three who died suddenly during divorce proceedings. We had sent her a draft will, but she had not yet signed it. Her drunken, violent husband got the lot.
