ABSTRACT
Admissions made by an agent acting within the scope of his authority are admissible against his principal. An example of the agent/principal relationship would be a lawyer and his client, such admissions by agents are statements made by the agent to third parties: for example, statements made by counsel in open court and these are admissible as evidence of any matter stated.
