ABSTRACT
Information technology (IT) is a term that often fills people with apprehension. In its broadest sense it means any form of technology that allows the transfer of information from one person to another or others. Although this term therefore technically applies to radios, televisions and other such appliances, it has nevertheless come to be almost exclusively used when referring to the field of computer technology.
