ABSTRACT

In addition to the questionnaire study of all Year 10 pupils in Peterborough, a special space-time budget study was carried out for a randomly selected subsample (see Chapter 2). In this chapter we will present some preliminary findings from this study. The method's full potential as a tool for studying the influence of adolescents' behavioural contexts on crime involvement is currently taken forward in the research carried out in the ongoing Peterborough Adolescent Development Study (PADS).
