ABSTRACT
The British Association for Women in Policing (BAWP) was founded in 1987 as a support group for women officiers but, as the police family has broadened, the organization has become all inclusive. Members include women and men from all ranks and levels of the Police Service, plus representatives from police authorities and police-related organizations and anyone with a professional interest in supporting the development of women in policing.
