ABSTRACT

This chapter will focus on the relationship between Pupils' lifestyles and offending behaviour in schools. It is based on previous literature regarding routine activities and offending behaviour (Cohen and Felson 1979; Miethe and Meier 1994) and lifestyle research in relation to victimisation (Hindelang et al. 1978; Garofalo 1986; Lauritsen et al. 1991; Wittebrood and Neiuwbeerta 1999). It will contribute to knowledge through empirically testing the role of Pupils' lifestyles in relation to Pupils' offending behaviour in schools.
