ABSTRACT
This chapter considers measures in place to protect children and young people from sexual and violent offences in their own home. It also looks at children and young people who get involved in prostitution and how policy changes are trying to get this activity viewed more as a child protection matter rather than a straight criminal matter. The protection of adults – and particularly women – from violent and sexual offending in the home is also considered.
