ABSTRACT
America was originally part of Gondwana and shares many plant and animal lineages with Gondwanan continents, including marsupials and the Antarctic flora. The Neotropical realm includes many protected areas, and 1.28 per cent of its area has been inscribed as world heritage. This chapter presents seven connectivity conservation case studies from the Neotropics.
