ABSTRACT

By allowing participants to engage in an active conversation with one another, while sorting and analysing issues or lessons thematically, the ‘Embodied Affinity Diagram’ ensures everyone will get involved, listen to others and express their opinion – not by voicing it but by showing it. In silence, participants brainstorm issues (or lessons) on individual notes that are tied to balloons and then sort them. Only later, once much has already been silently said, does vocal dialogue begin.
