ABSTRACT
Unexploited and underutilized crops represent a huge potential which exists in some regions of the world with specific climatic conditions. Their exploitation and improvement would lead to ensuring the supply of food, fodder, fuels and fibre to people in rural areas. The utilization of these crops could contribute to preserving these crops worldwide (Duke, 1984).
