ABSTRACT
This section discusses expected climatic changes and their consequences based on data from two sources: observed trends in the period 1975–2004, and evaluation of the results of a series of model scenarios. This then serves as the basis for identifying regions in which particularly critical developments are to be expected (Chapter 7).
