Denmark: long-term planning with different objectives Poul Erik Grohnheit

Within the European context, the Danish electricity sector is small – accounting for only about 1.5% of European electricity production – but rich in experience that is important for this study. The long-term measures taken in Denmark over the last two or three decades, long before climate change became a political issue, could make a substantial difference in tackling current address issues of competition and climate change policy in the electricity sector.
