ABSTRACT
A truly sustainable building will concentrate not just on its own energy and water management but also on all the materials used in the renovation and the responsibility that comes with using them. There is also the question of the external environment and its integration with the life of the building. Finally, the ease with which the occupants can live with and maintain their home will contribute greatly to its sustainability.
