ABSTRACT
We’ve found that if we insulate well and protect from draughts, we need far less energy for heating and cooling. We’ve also found that to minimize the carbon impact of water we should use it as efficiently as possible. It comes as no surprise then, to find that the low carbon home will minimize electricity use before looking to supply the remaining demand from renewable energy sources.
