ABSTRACT
Leadership is the key factor in attaining the ‘full integration’ level of the sustainability maturity model. In my experience, most organizations are stuck at the stage of trying to manage their way towards sustainability rather than leading the way forward. Given the scale of the changes required to deliver a sustainable business, without leadership, strategies will ultimately fail.
