ABSTRACT
Industrial water use refers broadly to water used as an input in the production of goods and services in other than agricultural activities. Commercial water users include restaurants, hotels, retail and wholesale trades, and offices. These uses are conventionally those in which water use is primarily for human consumption and sanitation on the business premises, and are mostly purchased from municipal supply agencies. Thus, I have chosen to include commercial uses with municipal uses in Chapter 7.
