Abstract-Predictionofearthquakescanbesuccessfullydonebytheappearanceofanearthquake cloud.Thefactthatalargeearthquakeproducesalargegapsuggeststhatsmallshocksgenerate smallcrevices,whichreducethecohesionoftherock.Next,undergroundwaterpercolatesinto thecrevices.Itsexpansion,contractionandchemistryfurtherreducethecohesion.Frictiondueto irregularmovementheatsthewaterandeventuallygeneratesvaporathightemperatureandpressure. Thevaporeruptsfromanimpendinghypocentertothesurfacebythecrevicesandrisesup.Itformsa cloudwhileencounteringcoldair.Thiskindofcloud,whosevaporisfromanimpendinghypocenter, isdenotedanearthquakecloud.Followingthistechniqueofearthquakepredictionitwaspossibleto predicttheearthquakesofvariouspartsoftheearthincludingUSA,ChinaandJapan.
