ABSTRACT
Fabrication of nanomaterials (nanotechnology) is a new and exciting area of research that investigates, among other things, the use of nano-size particles in technological applications. It is an extremely diverse and multidisciplinary field, ranging from novel extensions of conventional device physics, to completely new approaches based on molecular self-assembly. It covers everything from electronics, sensors, healthcare, and personal care products, to developing new materials with dimensions on the nano-scale. This nano world is not just a promise of greater things to come, but it will undoubtedly be a major factor creating wealth and improving quality of life of future generations.
