ABSTRACT
This chapter deals with the topic of designing an energy harvesting
(also called energy-scavenging) system that is composed by an
energy harvesting power supply and a low-power load. In such
systems, the energy is collected from the environment employing
a transducer that transforms the ambient energy into electrical
energy for supplying energy autarkic electronic devices.
