ABSTRACT

This chapter covers the design of vibration energy harvesters based

on the electromagnetic working principle. In the recent years a

large number of such transducers have been developed by different

scientific organizations. A conclusion of the state of the art leads to

the analytical description and basic tools for the design of resonant

vibration transducers with its mechanical and electromagnetic

subsystems. The design and optimization of the overall transducer

system is shown on a sample for automotive applications.
