ABSTRACT

In this chapter, the idea that odor should be recognized at the three aspects (composition, odor sensory quantity and subjective sense) is proposed. We explain our electronic nose performing the evaluation of the malodors in place of human panels as the second aspect and introduce the measurement example of the plating factory as a real example. 17.1 Introduction
