ABSTRACT
The previous three chapters focus mainly on the linear elasticity of
carbon nanotubes at small deformation. Differently, the non-linear
mechanical response of nanotubes under large deformation has also
long received wide attention. In particular, their buckling behaviors
have been regarded as a major topic in the nanotube research
community [121, 122].
