Looking back at the concept behind the described latex technology, it was clear that (in the absence of shear) the initial segregated network ™ƒ•–Š‡‘”‹œ‡†–‘”‡ƒ‹‹–ƒ…–ˆ”‘–Š‡ϐ‹”•–’”‘…‡••‹‰•–‡’ǡ˜‹ƒ–Š‡ –™‘…‘’‘‡–…‘ŽŽ‘‹†ƒŽ‹š–—”‡•ǡ–‘–Š‡ϐ‹ƒŽ…‘’‘•‹–‡ƒˆ–‡”‡Ž–Ǧ processing. From Section 4.2, it is already apparent that the network structure obtained after the second step, namely lyophilization, ƒ† ‹ –Š‡ ϐ‹ƒŽ …‘’‘•‹–‡ǡ …ƒ„‡†‹ơ‡”‡–ǤŠ‡“—‡•–‹‘‘Š‘™ –Š‡ •–”—…–—”‡ ‹‰Š– …Šƒ‰‡ „‡–™‡‡ –Š‡ ϐ‹”•– ƒ† •‡…‘† •–‡’ ”‡ƒ‹•Ǥ Š‹• ‹• ƒ ‡•’‡…‹ƒŽŽ› ‹–‡”‡•–‹‰ “—‡•–‹‘™Š‡ †‹ơ‡”‡– techniques to remove the continuous medium (water, in our case) are addressed.
