ABSTRACT

The slit is filled with germanium, which is one of the most promising materials for near-infrared photodetectors in integrated optical circuits (Cao, 2010), while the microcavities are filled with silica. We consider compact structures in which all microcavity dimensions are limited to less than 1 µm.
