ABSTRACT
As the saying goes, “A picture is worth a thousand words.” A picture
illustrates more than the shape of an object. It also informs us
about the object’s size, its relation to other objects, interactions,
characteristics, colors, etc. Scientific publications use illustrations
to convey condensed information, including abstract and difficult
concepts.
