ABSTRACT

Unfortunately, the small surface area of a single capillary (about 0.03 cm2) makes measurements of adsorption of surfactant on a capillary wall by usual methods

impossible. However, in the case of ionic surfactants, use of capillary electrokinetics allows measuring of the surface charge in dependence of sur-factant concentration. The dependence, as will be shown below, may sometimes be used for determination of adsorption isotherms of ions.
