ABSTRACT

In previous works, it was demonstrated that the SLS of polymers can permit the fabrication of blends with controlled structure and properties (Salmoria et al. 2007 and 2008). This work presents investigations about the fabrication of Polycaprolactone/Progesterone drug delivery specimens by SLS. Microscopy, mechanical and drug release analyses were carried out to evaluate the potential application in biomedical devices for drug delivery.
