ABSTRACT
To improve or reduce the thermal behaviour of injection moulds, design strategies such as conformal cooling, SFF technologies and mould material selection can be selected [4].
During the analysis on the heat balance of some available mould materials, aspects as heat capacity Cp, specific density ρ and thermal conduction λ are very important. The relation between these characteristics is the thermal diffusivity α of a material.
