ABSTRACT

This paper presents the PMS methodology developed by ECG. It includes a fairly advanced calculation engine that applies a mechanistic-empirical analysis. This web-based technology tool makes it possible to obtain detailed theoretical models of pavements and subgrades, based on multi-layer response models. Besides, the tool makes it possible to assess any rehabilitation solution based on reinforcement, milling of existing layers or use of different recycling options. The assessment can be customized: it is possible to decide on the empirical mechanic calculation to fatigue, the calculation by controlling the deflection level, or the calculation according to different international standards.
