ABSTRACT

The university is an institution that has a particularly prestigious place among citizens. It not only presents itself as the main component of the higher education system where the creation and reproduction of learned culture is practiced daily, but it crystallizes in particular the vision of society towards the desired socio-economic development. The Moroccan higher education model is characterized by the juxtaposition of universities with other non-university establishments and establishments dependent on post-baccalaureate vocational training. Private higher education has grown rapidly, creating a great deal of dispersion and heterogeneity in terms of the number of training courses provided and in terms of quality. The major challenge posed by the development of university higher education is to fill the accumulated deficit and create a process that enhances the quality of university studies to overcome what hinders its development and give hope to young graduates in difficulty of recognition and perspectives.
