ABSTRACT

There is a lot of flowing water in pipes of drinking water systems feeding every city in the world. There are drinking water systems with dams, water treatment plants water reservoirs and kilometres long pipings in between, where water flows down to the cities by gravity. From the beginning, the CINK turbines were developed for use in drinking water systems and to have such performance data and quality on a repetitive basis along with ecologically harmless and without disturbance to the waterworks supply ‘and technology. The control plate of CINK turbine is moved by electrical motor and no hydraulic regulation is required. CINK turbine has low runaway speed by falling out of the electrical grid and there is almost no change in through flow rate in runaway operation. CINK turbines are installed up to date in 270 sites in 13 countries including Germany, Switzerland, Great Britain, France etc.
