ABSTRACT
Inter-basin transfer of water is an attractive option to correct the natural imbalance of supply and demand. By nature, these schemes are complex, require large financial outlays and have profound influence on regional economy and environment. This paper is concerned with planning for inter-basin water transfer in a large system in India.
