ABSTRACT

Based on a semi-structured in-depth individual interview, this paper explores the correlation between international experience and cultural intelligence. It shows that “habitus” and cultural capital at home lay a foundation for Victor’s international career and illustrates that international education and experience have a positive impact on the interviewee’s career development in multicultural backgrounds.
