ABSTRACT

This research aims at investigating: 1) teachers’ competence in designing learning; 2) teacher’s’ competence in implementing learning designs; 3) teachers’ competence in designing evaluation; and 4) teachers’ competence in implementing the evaluation designs of craft and entrepreneurship learning. This research is an explorative descriptive research. The research population includes the teachers of craft and entrepreneurship subjects consisting of 17 teachers and the research sample comprises of seven teachers from seven participated high schools. These schools implement the Indonesian national curriculum and located in Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The data was collected using questionnaires, observations and documentations. Data analysis technique used in this research is a quantitative descriptive analysis technique. The findings show that: 1) teachers’ competence in designing learning is included in the medium category; 2) teachers’ competence in implementing the learning designs is classified in the medium category; 3) teachers’ competence in designing evaluation belongs to the medium category; 4) teachers’ competence in implementing the evaluation designs is classified in the medium category.
