ABSTRACT
Eosinophilic lung diseases are a group of diffuse parenchymal lung diseases characterized by the prominent infiltration by polymorphonuclear eosinophils into the lung interstitium and the alveolar spaces. Eosinophilic lung diseases usually respond dramatically to systemic corticosteroids. As the lung architecture is preserved, healing occurs without any sequelae in almost all cases.
