ABSTRACT
The CXR is the most common radiological investigation performed. Interpretation can be difficult and often falls initially to those with relatively limited experience. It is important to have a systematic approach to interpretation to ensure that the correct diagnosis is made and nothing is missed. This will help both in the examination situation and in real life.
