ABSTRACT
A detailed medical history record should be created for every ferret in your practice (Fig. 7.1). The information should be included in the permanent computer record. Fig. 7.2 is an example of a ferret
history upon the rst visit. At each visit, it is good to review the total health of the ferret. The owner can ll out a detailed list to update the pet’s health information. This update helps both the owner and the vet to target the reasons for the day’s visit. Fig. 7.3 is an example of a form used for each visit.
