ABSTRACT
The requirements put on companies that make hand tools have increased considerably. Nowadays, products should have a specific added value, should be focused on individual needs, should be safe and user friendly, and should even have a wow! effect. One way to develop unique products is to have them be highly comfortable in use. Ergonomics especially could be of great value in tuning products to the needs of users (Vink and Koningsveld 2000).
