ABSTRACT
Cranial stereotactic radiosurgery frames continued to evolve with the advances of imaging modalities, such as CT and MRI. The major milestone in the development of the cranial frame has been the migration from invasive to noninvasive and relocatable frames with the perseverance of the same submillimeter accuracy. This migration was achieved by the application of online x-ray imaging devices.
