ABSTRACT
Teams ofengineers face major hurdles during collaborative design: they may not share the same vocabulary, concepts, or tools, let alone work in the same building, city, or even country. The World Wide Design Lab facilitates concept-sharing and knowledge reuse through a collection of novel representation and communication tools.
