ABSTRACT
The preceding chapters of this book make clear two fundamental realities concerning the future for helium. First, helium is a by-product of natural gas production; and second, helium is a vital substance for key high-technology industries of the future. The long-term future need for helium is clear, but the long-term scenarios for supply are far less certain.
