ABSTRACT

This chapter is an attempt to verify whether and how, in the current situation, a revitalization of critical criminological analysis is viable. I identify the area of study pertaining to corporate crime as the ideal area, within criminology, that lends itself to a radical approach. In the following pages, conceptualizations, causations, and prevention of this type of crime will be addressed through the tools offered by classical sociology as well as those made available by more contemporary analysis. The argument developed below is intended to suggest that corporate crime is a panacea for critical criminology.
