ABSTRACT
I have asked many miracle questions that have in turn led to countless descriptions of many alternative preferred futures. As a solutionfocused practitioner, there have been occasions when my clients/young people have struggled when asked the miracle question. This has been a constant challenge and dilemma for me as a worker; what do you do in such situations? My suggestion is that you bring the boundaries of the conversation into the vision of the young person. It is my aim within this chapter to share with you some of my own experiences and ideas in co-constructing a preferred future.
