ABSTRACT
In the summer of 1995, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) launched its first military operations ever against a hostile foe. Naval forces were an integral part of this coalition operation known as Operation Deliberate Force, contributing bombers, air cover, and at one point even Tomahawk missiles to the mission.
