ABSTRACT
The aim of this chapter is to explore the signi®cance of topographical material in relation to art psychotherapy supervision. There is an emphasis on supervisory activity with art therapists who work with people with learning disabilities. However, I believe the universality of material will make it useful for art psychotherapists practising in other ®elds.
