ABSTRACT
This chapter argues that the different aspects of Satyagraha were not developed overnight. The comprehensive idea of Satyagraha grew into a clear philosophy of action as Gandhi got involved in various types of social and political campaigns. The aim of this chapter is to demonstrate different historical stages of the development of the concept of Satyagraha into a clear philosophy of action in order to develop a comprehensive understanding of Gandhi’s Satyagraha.
