This chapter discusses the fast-changing global strategic environment that requires Russia to reset ties with the two Koreas, keeping in mind the far-reaching historical trajectory. The author analyses how the “Korea factor” in Russia’s foreign policy strategy is crucial for its North-East Asia outreach and overall stability.
